Tasleem (Taz) Ismail B.Sc(Hons), D.Ch. received her Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and Health Science from the University of York Ontario in 2004 and graduated from the Michener Institute Chiropody Program in 2007. Her generous and giving nature has lead her to practice primarily at East End Community health centre with a focus on providing a full array of much needed chiropody services to the East York community.

She is a continuing education powerhouse with a list of specialized skills too lengthy to mention! Her ample toolbox includes: Foot Mobilisation Technique, Ross Fraser Nail Bracing, Active Release Technique and Dry Needling She provides mentorship to future foot health practitioners as a preceptor to nursing, nurse practitioner and chiropody residents during their clinical rotations.

Taz lives in the Beaches with her husband and fur baby Hudson. When not at work, you can find her conditioning herself through spinning, hiking, snowshoeing with Hudson or exploring the city.

Andre Liban B.Sc (Hons), D.Ch. received his Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and Health Science from the York University in 2018 and graduated from the Michener Institute Chiropody Program in 2022. Andre has previously spent time practicing in other private clinics and community health care settings.

He values the opportunity to be able to help people move through the world better through foot care. Andre enjoys travelling, hiking, exploring various places and foods, and playing recreational sports such as basketball, volleyball, and badminton.

Pearl graduated from The University of Ottawa in 2019 before moving on and receiving her diploma in Chiropody from The Michener Institute in 2022. She draws from her experiences practicing in private, community health and hospital settings when providing care.Outside of the clinic, Pearl can be found drawing in her studio, trying new recipes, or shooting at the archery range. She currently lives downtown with her partner and their cat, Sam.

Tenzin Lungkara B.Sc (Hons), D.Ch. received his Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and HealthScience from Ontario Tech University in 2020 and graduated from the Michener InstituteChiropody Program in 2024.

His clinical experience includes interning at a number of top private clinics including the London Family Foot Clinic (London, ON) and others the Cambridge and Guelph and Cobourg area. Tenzin's approach to patient's focuses on understanding each patient’s unique needs and concerns to help develop tailored treatment plans to promote optimal foot health and/or pain relief of foot and leg pain. Outside of work, Tenzin is passionate about sports and physical activity. He enjoys playingsoccer and volleyball and is an active runner. He also enjoys exploring restaurants in Toronto. Tenzin looks forward to helping patients achieve optimal foot health and mobility through his work at Bloor West Foot Clinic.

After over 20 years in advertising, Kathie decided to turn her passion for health and fitness into a newfound career. Since 2003, she has helped people of all ages and from all walks of life become healthier through fitness, nutrition and injury rehab. She has owned her own personal training studio, managed physiotherapy and chiropractic clinics and, more recently… she’s moved on down to feet, the foundation that supports it all!

Kathie looks forward to working with the Bloor West Foot Clinic team to help our patients have healthy, happy feet. 

Kathie lives in The Beach area of the city with her husband, Paul and kitty, Jenkins. She is an avid gardener, cook and entertainer, and loves exploring our great city.

After already an eight-year journey in the Chiropody industry, Christina has brought her wealth of experience, dedication, and talented skills to our team at Bloor West Foot Clinic (an exceptional and valued addition for us!). She has us covered very well from the tips of our toes to the top of our heads. In addition to her clinic experience, Christina expresses her artistic side as a hair colour technician in her time away from the clinic. Alongside husband Mike, she is also a busy and loving MOM to two wonderful children: Stepdaughter Sophia and Son Liam who are her treasures for sure. Christina looks forward to assisting each patient with keeping a skip in their step and a smile on their face each time they visit the clinic.
